Pre-Nursery & Nursery

Our Early Learning program encourages children to explore and discover the world.

This programme is an integral part of the elementary school programme drawn by the federal ministry of education. It offers families a unique experience. We highly value the links between the home, Pre-nursery, nursery, primary school, and the wider community, and work in partnership with of these groups to provide the best start for every child.

  • We offer a play based programme that is centered on the needs and interests of the child, using the Montessori Early years learning and development framework.
  • The child is encouraged to freely explore the Pre-nursery and Nursery environment and develop an enthusiasm for learning, while being guided by the Pre-nursery and Nursery's dedicated team of educators.
  • Our team of educators encourage the pupils to strive for their best, and tailor the curriculum to meet the needs of each child.

Primary

In the primary years, we inspire our pupils to be curious, to extend their interest in the world around them and to confidently encounter new situations.

The primary Years Program integrates academic learning with social development. Learning begins with strong foundations in literacy and numeracy – but to develop the whole person this must be extended through a diverse and rich curriculum.

CURRICULUM

Our diverse and rich curriculum for the primary years includes co-curricular activities like Music, art, and sport.

Language

The study of language is considered to be very essential at ABNPS. Our pupils are taught two foreign languages ( English & French). And the indigenous language of the area in which the school is located is strongly emphasized and taught.

Music & Home Economics

Music is an integral part of human existence. Therefore, pupils at ABNPS get to have a first-time experience with music and musical instruments. Our boys and girls are encouraged at a very early time of their life to pick and learn a musical instrument of their choice.
